Farming
I have been lucky enough to grow up on a farm. I am passionate about being in the outdoors and helping my parents manage the herd. I love nothing more than when i go home after a busy week in the heart of Dublin to throw on my wellies and get to work.
Working on the farm is a source of great pleasure. We currently raise beef cattle, tending to them until they are ready to go to the mart. Our passion also extends to thoroughbred racehorses and foals, which we carefully nurture as they await going into training, with the hopes that they will develop into successful race horses. I truly love the responsibility of caring for the animals and find profound beauty in being surrounded by nature. My favourite months are always in the summer when all the animals are out in the fields, the air is filled with the distinct smell of cut grass as we are making hay.
